ABBA Celebration BBC Concert

Just a day after the BBC Last Night Proms in the Park, the Beeb are holding another concert at Hyde Park on Sunday, 13th September to celebrate the band ABBA and their countless hits that have been loved over the decades. Hosted by Chris Evans from BBC Radio 2, this show promises to be an event that should not be missed by any hardcore ABBA fans.
The event, called Thank You For The Music: A Celebration Of The Music Of ABBA, is the biggest tribute concert for ABBA ever attempted in the world. Two members of the original ABBA group, Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, will be performing as well as the entire cast of the London West End Mamma Mia musical show. There is also a massive lineup of big stars and musicians who will be performing all the famous ABBA songs:

Tickets are still available (as of today, 27th August 9th September), and cost 25 pounds each. As it is a festival in a park, all tickets are general admission, so the advice is to go early if you wish to get close to the front of the stage! The gates open at 5pm, with the concert starting at 6pm and lasting for approximately 2 hours. Don’t forget to check the BBC weather forecast for Sunday before booking.
