This independent French movie offers one of 2009′s freshest new dramas, comparable to Juno when it came out last year. It had already become a big hit in France in 2008, and I was invited to a special preview screening of this film in London before its big release in the coming weeks in independent and art cinemas across London.

One of the biggest changes to the London Tube network will be taking place on the 13th December 2009, when the Circle Line stops being a circle and instead adopts of a “teacup” structure. Circle Line trains will run to Hammersmith station, using the same tracks as the Hammersmith & City Line. Read more about this change and what it means for you!

Everyone should dine at a Michelin Star restaurant at least once in their lifetime, and at Maze it was truly an amazing experience, one that will have you dreaming about the food for weeks afterwards. Set in the tranquil settings of Grosvenor Square just off Oxford Street, the restaurant has impeccable service, highly creative food, at price-wise although expensive does seem rather good value.

This Italian restaurant lived up its status as a stereotypical hotel restaurant, with cool interiors and decoration, quiet dining environment, but standard food that does not excite. If you’re a business traveller staying at the Sheraton Park Lane, then by all means this is a decent restaurant to dine at. But for Londoners, there are much better places for cheaper, even after the 50% discount off the bill.

I had the good fortune of being able to get some rare free preview tickets for this new horror amateur-style movie. Touted as the next Blair Witch Project, the movie promises much, but apparently even the movie distributors didn’t think much of it as they offered everyone a free drink before the preview… a rare occurrence… to try to butter us up!
