London Chocolate Festival at the South Bank

Published 2 December 2010

Christmas has long been a season of indulgence – with its lavish roasts and gigantic tins of mass-manufactured sweeties. But this year, ditch the Roses and (not much) Quality Street – and head to the London Chocolate Festival for some proper confectionery!

From 10th December, a stretch of the South Bank behind the Royal Festival Hall will be lined with stalls of the chocolatey persuasion, with masterclasses, book signings and chocolatier chat galore. And of course, there will be goodies to purchase from retailers such as Hotel Chocolat and Rococo, as well as smaller confectionery businesses. Not only will visitors ot the London Chocolate Festival be able to buy chocolate and foodstuffs containing chocolate, but also kits for making your own chocs and even chocolate beer and cocktails!
