Regent Street Motor Show 2011 (Saturday, 5th Nov)
Published 31 October 2011
Gents – while you may be dreading the thought of going to Regent Street on a Saturday in the weeks up to Christmas, there will be one big reason to go on Saturday 5th November: The Regent Street Motor Show.
On Saturday 5 November, Regent Street will be traffic-free for a display of over 300 iconic cars representing pioneering motoring achievements across the 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries.
Taking place from 10am till 4pm, wander down a traffic-less, but not car-free Regent Street! The 300 vintage cars are those taking part in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run the previous day, and around a hundred of those cars will be pre-1905, making this probably the only time in the year when these rare cars make a public appearance. Regent Street will be traffic-free between Piccadilly Circus and Conduit Street.
Amongst the more “modern” cars will be 50 Jaguar E-Types and 50 Mini Coopers, with both brands celebrating their 50th anniversaries.
The Regent Street Motor Show is a free public event, and while there, don’t forget to check out the Ferrari Shop on Regent Street as well!
