New Departure Hall Concourse at Kings Cross Station

I hadn’t been to Kings Cross for a while, but on my last visit there last weekend to catch a train to Cambridge, I was awe-struck by the amazing open-air cocoon like plaza of the Western side of Kings Cross Station. Open on the 19th March 2012, this new departure plaza is a much needed upgrade from the existing cramped and crowded station.

Are eBook Readers Perfect for London Commuters?

For the past two weeks, I have been testing out the Kobo Touch, an eBook Reader that is one of the best in the market and very slim and light. I’ve always been a big reader of books, but have hesitated to get an eBook reader as I still loved the feel and touch of a normal book.

Top 5 Jokes about the London Underground Tube

This week hasn’t been funny to London Underground commuters, with the announcement that all Tube staff will get a £850 bonus just for turning up for work during the Olympics. After lots of severe delays, disruptions, and broken trains over the last few weeks on the Jubilee and Circle lines, few commuters have a reason to laugh.
