Visiting Wembley Arena – Olympics 2012 Information

I had the pleasure of visiting Wembley Arena to watch some Olympics badminton this morning. It started at 8:30am – normally way too early in the morning for me on a Saturday, given that I had to wake up at 6am to get there! But I had a thoroughly enjoyable morning there. Review: Obikà Mozzarella Bar & Restaurant (South Kensington)

Obikà is a stylish restaurant concept from Italy, and has opened its newest branch in South Kensington in London. Started in 2004, the Obikà concept focuses on traditional Italian food, especially Mozzarella di Bufala, that great Italian cheese that sometimes doesn’t get the respect that it gets because it’s often used improperly on sub-par American style pizzas.

Review: Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber at the Adelphi Theatre

The famous Michael Ball, of Phantom of the Opera fame, plays the lead character, Sweeney Todd. But it is the lead heroine, Mrs Lovett, played by Imelda Staunton that really shines in this musical. Having started out as a supporting character to Sweeney Todd, she quickly wows the audience with her sassy lyrics and really exuding the happy-go-lucky personality but with a dark streak under the surface.
