Krispy Kreme’s new Kreme de la Kreme donuts
Published 24 September 2012
Have you seen the new Krispy Kreme donuts yet? Think you’ve tried them all? Well – you haven’t yet! Krispy Kreme’s just come out with their new Autumn/Winter collection (playing on London Fashion Week – get it?), and there’s three delectable yummy new limited edition donuts available.
I had the pleasure of getting a box of a dozen of the new Krispy Kreme donuts for my office. They didn’t last long!
I used this article as an excuse to try all three of the new flavours from the Autumn/Winter range. My favourite by far was the Salted Caramel donut. I have a soft spot for salted caramel in general, and it just makes so much sense to have a donut with that flavour:
The Milk Chocolate Praline Fudge Cake donut was OK – somehow, the supposedly moist chocolate cake for the donut proper wasn’t as moist as I would have liked it. Tasted a bit dry, like a stale chocolate donut:
The last one – Pistachio and White Chocolate Nougat donut – was very playful with pistachios and raspberry and honey flakes sprinkled on top. Not only did it look interesting, it tasted pretty good too:
So there you go. The three new donuts from Krispy Kreme. Check them out if you have a chance – they’re a bit steep at £1.75 per donut, but absolutely decadent.
The new Kreme de la Kreme donut range from Krispy Kreme is available from all Krispy Kreme stores and in selected in-store Tescos until January 2013.
