Chocolate Unwrapped 2012: The Event For Serious Chocoholics
Published 10 October 2012
If you love chocolate and dream of chocolate when you sleep at night, there’s probably no event in London that you should ever miss more than Chocolate Unwrapped. Two days of tastings, talks, and events devoted to chocolate – it doesn’t get better than this!
As part of Chocolate Week 2012, Chocolate Unwrapped takes place on this Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th of October, offering a grand finale to the week dedicated to chocolate in London. Held in the London Film Museum, over 60 chocolate companies will be there, including some of my favourite chocolate shops in London:
- Artisan du chocolat
- Hotel Chocolat
- Paul A Young
- William Curley
There’s a good lineup of events this weekend too at Chocolate Unwrapped – with demonstrations from top chocolatiers on how to make chocolates and chocolate-inspired foods. I’m particularly excited by a demonstration on how to make goats cheese ganache on sea salt wafers with lemon, black pepper and gold leaf, by Chantal Coady from Rococo. See the full listing of talks, demonstrations, and events here.
You can see the full list of exhibitors, essentially a who’s who in the UK chocolate industry, as well as details on how to buy tickets. Given all the freebies and chocolate tastings that I expect at Chocolate Unwrapped this weekend, I think I’ll be putting on a few pounds by the time I go in to work on Monday!
