Hélène Darroze is known for her Michelin fine French cooking, but she likes to extend her creative and wonderful cooking to other cuisines. At The Connaught Hotel, she has introduced a new American-inspired Saturday brunch menu, bringing such classics as mac & cheese, brownies, and hot dogs to her restaurant.

Dishes by Lindt Excellence Chocolates & Jun Tanaka

When you think of Lindt chocolate, you think of cute chocolate Easter bunnies, wrapped up in gold foil and fond memories of munching them as a child and getting a tummy-ache the next day. And then there’s Jun Tanaka – a master chef that I’ve been dying to try his food for ages, but never gotten round to eating at his Pearl restaurant in Holborn.

World Famous Noma Restaurant Coming To Claridge’s (for 10 days)

While London has an abundance of Michelin starred and fine dining restaurants, it doesn’t have Noma, a Copenhagen restaurant that is almost universally regarded as the world’s best, especially since El Bulli in Spain has now shut down. So it is with great excitement that René Redzepi, head chef of Noma, has unveiled “A Taste of Noma at Claridge’s”.

Fashion-Themed Afternoon Tea at The Berkeley Hotel

Popular opinion is that the afternoon tea at the Ritz Hotel is the best in London. And it might have been true in the past. Review: Delicious Cupcakes at Hummingbird Bakery

Thinking about how to describe Hummingbird Bakery’s superiority in cupcakes over its rivals across London, I’ve struggled to come up with anything else except for the cringe-worthy description that it is “more moist” than the competing numerous cupcakeries.

Review: Sourdough Pizza at Franco Manca Pizzeria

Its interesting to see how food trends come and go in London. Just only a year or two ago, Franco Manca was all the rage – a little pizzeria in Brixton Market, which was back an area that serious foodies turned their noses up to.

Review: Fine Italian Dining at L’Anima Restaurant

L’Anima is the typical, modern City restaurant – floor to ceiling windows everywhere, sophisticated, really good service, and above all an amazing wine selection. In many ways, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better wining and dining place for your expense account (if you’re still lucky enough to have one).

Deliverance Food Delivery: Perfect For A Freezing Day

Ever heard of Deliverance? If you have lived in London for a period of time, chances are that you have. Either as a current customer, someone who’s received one of their brochures, or seen one of their iconic delivery motorbikes across London.

Review: Interactive Tables at Inamo Restaurant

Inamo has the unique concept of interactive tables. Whether technology can replace a waiter altogether I am not so sure, however this fun, quirky and futuristic feature is certainly a talking point. I especially recommend this restaurant for those on a first date. If the dreaded “awkward silence” strikes, then you can always just talk about the table!
