If it hasn’t already established itself as having one of the most high-end luxury shoe selections in the world, it would definitely do so with it’s new shoe emporium, displaying and selling over 4,000 pairs of shoes when it opens.

New Olympic Javelin Trains Wobble Like Jelly… at 140mph

Last year, Boris Johnson launched, with lots of fanfare, the new high speed rail link from St Pancras in central London to the Kent suburbs of Ashford and Ebbsfleet. However, Southeastern has today admitted that there was a wobbling issue with the trains, especially when it was traveling at the lightning speed of 140mph.

R.I.P East London Line, Hello London Overground!

On 27th April, Transport for London (TfL) opened four new stations as part of the opening of the Eastern section of its London Overground service and began the preview service of the line. Full service of the extended and rebranded line commenced on the 23rd May running from Dalston Junction to New Cross, Crystal Palace and West Croydon.

A New US Embassy And Perhaps A New Tube Station At Battersea

The arrival of the new US Embassy in Battersea is imminent and the design has been released. Is it an open space for all to enjoy, or a fortress which we won’t be let near? Either way, one exciting development for the area as a result is a potential new Tube line for a part of London that has never before had a spot on TfL’s Tube map.
