SeeFilmFirst codes

I’ve been a big fan of See Film First for several years now, and have been to many many movie preview & premiere screenings hosted by them.

SeeFilmFirst Homepage screenshotThe concept is very simple: you sign up on their website with your email address, and when they have free screenings available at local cinemas in your area that matches your preferred film genres, they will send you an email with a code to claim your free tickets. However, in my experience I rarely get any codes, even after being a member for 3 years!

Most of the time I find out about the free movie preview tickets from forums, money saving websites, and voucher code online databases. However, I have yet to come across a central list of SeeFilmFirst (SFF) codes for movie screenings just for London, so the rest of the team and I at The London Insider decided that we will dedicate our efforts to publishing a constantly up to date list of valid preview codes that you can use to get free tickets for SeeFilmFirst movie screenings in London.

Recently, SeeFilmFirst have launched another website, TellTen, which works in the same way but uses different codes and has different movies that it does free screenings for. We now have a list of TellTen codes as well on this page, along with ShowFilmFirst and Momentum Screening codes.

Can’t find the movie you want? Not all movies have special free preview screening shows, especially the more popular ones. Or maybe your movie is already out in the cinemas (check here) or on DVD (check here). Either way, don’t waste your nights at home in frustration; sign up for an unlimited DVD rental program from Blockbuster and watch what you want, when you want.

Thank you for the codes. I also never receive any for Central London.
Please keep me posted, if possible.

    Hi Julie!

I’m glad that you find this page useful. I have my ear to several sources of seefilmfirst codes, so when they become available I automatically post them on here. You can keep up with new updates by subscribing to our RSS feed or get alerts about updates by email; just scroll to the top of this page and see the relevant links to subscribe on the right hand side of this page.

Did you realise that the ‘repo man’ code doesn’t actually work on either SFF or TellTen? Perhaps you have put the code down incorrectly? This is a great resource otherwise though! Keep it up! X x

  • Ursula said:

Sorry I now realise the ‘repo man’ code is for TellTen!

  • Ursula said:

You are WAY too slow with these codes nowadays – there are never any tickets left y the time you post the codes!

  • The London Insider (author) said:

    Hi Ursula,

My apologies… I have been busy with work recently, so have not been able to post them as quickly as I would like to. Still, going forwards, I intend to post codes within half an hour of hearing about them… so hopefully everyone will be able to get tickets in the future :)

I’d firstly like to say, a great article here. Very handy. I noticed that this is a London-based website, but you have gratefully been putting up codes for Milton Keynes. Would you be able to put up codes for anywhere in the country (Including Milton Keynes, my home town). I’m sure it’ll aide a few other readers and possibly attract a few other visitors to your site.

Many thanks for providing good codes and long may it continue!

  • The London Insider (author) said:

    Thanks Ciall!

Many of the codes here do have screenings around the country, but at the moment as it is we just don’t have the time to list every See Film First code. The website is currently run on a part time basis by a team of 18 London-based writers, but if it gets more popular and bigger we might be able to hire someone full time and make sure this page is better updated.

As you a reader, you can do your part to contribute to this site and keep us going by linking to this page or http://www.london-insider.co.uk from your blog or website, as well as sharing this page with your friends on Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter! And if you would like to get your own blog or website listed on our Links page, just drop me an email at boon at london – insider dot co . uk!

hi, is there any chance of any screenings in Newcastle-(Empire) or Gateshead Metrocentre-(Odeon)?

  • The London Insider (author) said:

Most of the codes above will have screenings for many locations throughout the UK. But as this is the London Insider website focusing on London, I will only be listing codes which have London screenings, and only listing the London cinemas with free screenings.

  • Moe said:

just found this link you might want to add Last Airbender tickets for 8th Aug.

  • The London Insider (author) said:

    Thanks Sue for the tip!

Just a note though that the Airbender tickets is a promotion run by MasterCard, and it is unsure if they will require showing a MasterCard upon entry to confirm that you are a holder.. do you know?

And there are also some other great offers on that website.. for example you can get adult tickets for student prices at Cineworld with your MasterCard, quite a good saving. Plus you can get a free upgrade from a regular to large popcorn and drink combo too, just print out the voucher online before going!

  • Sue said:

This is what is listed for the Mastercard ‘Last Airbender’ info, so although they say you need to buy, it brings you directly to a booking screen and no word on having tp present a card to avail of the tickets!
Hopt someone gets some tickets, yet again not available in my area ;-(

“Exclusive Advance Screening of The Last Airbender
Use your MasterCard® to make a purchase in the UK and you could attend an exclusive advance screening of The Last Airbender starring Dev Patel and Jackson Rathbone on 8th August 2010!
Simply use your MasterCard and then click here before 6th August 2010 for your chance to win tickets to this fantastic film screening.
    How Does it Work?
Simply click on the register button on this page and you’ll be able to view all of the cinemas where screenings are available.
Choose the cinema closest to you to see if there is still availability.
Claim up to 4 tickets provided free of charge.
Register data such as your email address so we can send you a reminder before the screening.
Once submitted a screen will open with your ticket voucher. You must print out this ticket voucher and present it at the theatre to gain entry to the screening.”

I’m always looking for Dublin screenings, so even if they don’t have an Irish screening, it doesn’t mean I can’t share with others who can enjoy the movie.
If Karma is correct, that means someone who partakes of this viewing will one day share a screening that is local to me.
