Couples Massage at Thai Square Spa, Tower Hill

Upon entering the new Thai Square Spa in Tower Hill you can immediately see why the Covent Garden branch has done so well. The spa itself is immaculate and tasteful while the staff are all exceptionally polite and welcoming, and seemed to relish the opportunity to guide a spa and massage novice like myself through the endless list of treatments.

Review: 16″ West Brasserie in Greenwich

The worst part of the meal at the 16” West Brasserie was a perfectly cooked Char-grilled rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce, needless to say, the overall of quality of the food was exceptionally high.

The JD Set at Dingwalls – The Human League Reinterpreted

Last Wednesday saw the JD set come to Dingwalls in Camden, for a celebration of the Human League’s seminal album, Dare. The bands assembled to pay their dues to the album and provide a reinterpretation included The Pippettes, Infadels, Shy Child, Shortwave Set and Kids on Bridges.

Review: Yeasayer Gig at Heaven Club

Yeasayer is an indie band from Brooklyn, New York, that burst onto the rock scene in 2007 and since then have gained respect for their breath of fresh music into the rock genre. As part of the Shockwaves NME Awards series in 2010, they were invited to cross the Atlantic to show music fans in London what the fuss about them is all about. The Prince Charles – London’s Cheapest Cinema

If, like me you were initially put off seeing films on the big screen by the high price of cinema tickets in London, you should check out the Prince Charles cinema. It is London’s best and by far the cheapest independent cinema and Quentin Tarantino’s favourite UK “grindhouse”.
